We started in 2013 with single bathrooms. In the first years we made every mistake this trade is known for: we promised dates with no buffer, priced by eye and settled up at the end. The result was predictable — arguments and rework.
In 2019 we rewrote how we work. We moved to line-by-line estimates, partial sign-offs and a schedule counted in working days with a buffer for deliveries. Since then we have not changed the price mid-job on a single site.
We also capped the number of jobs running at once at four. It is less money over a year, but it means the crew is not driving between sites and the lead genuinely knows what is happening in your home.
